Premium horse sale a WA first

Horse enthusiasts are warming up for what will be a WA first as Equirama comes to Margaret River this weekend.

The highlight of the event will be a premium horse sale, conducted by FarmWorks manager Harold Sealy.

Twenty hand-picked and ridden Australian Stock horses and Quarter horses, ranging from two-year-olds to campaigned horses will be offered.

"The quality of these horses cannot be surpassed, with each horse having been carefully selected for temperament and known breeding lines," Mr Sealy said.

"Having these outstanding horses available for sale on our own doorstep in the Margaret River region is a fantastic opportunity for all WA horse enthusiasts."

Equirama is also about entertainment and will offer a rare opportunity to enjoy three sporting disciplines at the one venue: the cut and thrust of top grade polocrosse as well as the excitement of horse against beast in cutting competition and the wonderful and uniquely Australian sport of campdrafting.

FarmWorks' move into the equine market as an adjunct to its traditional sheep and cattle sales is an exciting new phase in the company's development.

FarmWorks is proud to be associated with the inaugural Equirama and the future prospects of this event hosting an Australian renowned premium horse sale.
