RUGER SELECTIVE HERBICIDE

Conquest registers an exciting new herbicide for the early control of broadleaf weeds in wheat, barley and triticale

Ruger Selective Heribicide is an easy to use EC formulation containing the GROUP C herbicide Bromoxynil and the GROUP F herbicide Diflufenican. Registered for the control of broadleaf weeds such as Capeweed, Doublegee, Turnip and Wild radish, Ruger can be applied to wheat, barley and triticale as early as the true 2 leaf stage. Excellent crop safety means that growers can spray early which is paramount for total weed control and maximising on farm yield. In six replicated trials, Ruger was shown to be equivalent to other leading brands of this product type. Ruger doesn't rely on a single mode of action to work and as such will give more reliable weed control. At the higher rates, Ruger will provide very useful residual weed control. If targeting weed at the 3 leaf crop stage, growers have the option to broaden their spectrum on larger weed by using a spike such as MCPA LVE. Ruger is compatible with many grass selective herbicides.
